Who: This module is for PhDs and Postdocs across the Helmholtz Association. It may also be of interest for Helmholtz transfer and talent management offices or Spin-off teams who are already pursuing a business idea.
Info: The module will provide attendees with a fundamental understanding of essential financial concepts and strategies. It will help founders, managers, and non-financial professionals to understand the most important elements of financial statements, metrics, and key financial concepts - especially those necessary in early phases of developing and establishing a new venture. It provides practical insights into how business model, business plan, and business financials are connected and how to create meaningful financial projections. Participants will be engaged in hand-on exercises to apply their financial intelligence.
